Close to the work, from the first call through to launch
Most website projects fail somewhere in the gaps. Between the design and the build. Between the build and the content. Between launch and everything that was meant to happen after it. Those gaps are usually where someone stopped paying attention.
We work differently. The person who understood your business in the first conversation is the same person making decisions when a layout has to change on mobile or a page needs restructuring. Nothing gets handed down a chain and quietly reinterpreted.
We also work to a real process rather than improvising. Planning, design, development and refinement each have a stage. You always know which one your project is in.
We have built more than 100 websites. Business sites, local business sites, WooCommerce and e-commerce stores, service based businesses, portfolios, personal sites and blogs. The range matters more than the number. Whatever you are describing, there is a good chance we have seen it before and know which decisions cause trouble six months after launch.
How We Think About It
You shouldn't have to piece your website together yourself
A website is more than a set of sections on a page. Structure, design, responsive behaviour, performance, content and search all have to agree with each other. When they get treated as separate jobs the seams show. Usually the client is the one left coordinating between people who each assumed someone else was handling it. We treat all of it as one piece of work.
Structure
Pages, navigation and URLs planned before anything gets designed. The site keeps its shape as it grows.
Design and Build
Designed and developed by the same studio. What gets built is what was agreed, down to the spacing.
Responsiveness
Checked on desktop, tablet and mobile as we build. Not patched afterwards once something breaks.
Performance
Images sized properly and assets kept lean. Pages get measured rather than guessed at.
Search Foundations
Headings, metadata, internal links and clean markup handled during the build. Not bolted on later.
Content
Copy shaped to fit the layout and say something. Bring your own or we help write it.
Usability
A clear path to the thing you want people to do. Nothing in the way of them doing it.

How A Project Runs
Four stages, and you always know which one you are in
The order matters. Each stage settles decisions the next one depends on. It is the reason projects stop drifting back into questions that were already answered weeks earlier.
Stage 01
Planning
We work out what the site has to do, who it is for and what structure serves that. Nothing gets designed until this is settled.
Stage 02
Design
You see the design and agree it before development starts. The build is not where you first find out what it looks like.
Stage 03
Development
Built properly and built so you can manage it yourself afterwards. Reviewed across devices as it comes together.
Stage 04
Refinement
The stage most projects skip. Details tightened, forms and links tested, performance and search checked before anything goes live.
What we don't do
Worth being clear about this early. It saves a conversation that was never going to go anywhere.
- We don't guarantee rankings, traffic or leads. Anyone who does is guessing. We build the foundations that give you a fair chance and we tell you what they can and cannot do.
- We don't hand over a site and go quiet. What is included gets agreed in writing at the start, so you know where the project ends.
- We don't reuse the same template with your logo dropped in. The structure follows what your business needs to say.
- We don't take on work we are not right for. If your project needs something else, we say so rather than learn on your budget.
- We don't lock you in. The site runs on standard WordPress, on hosting you control, and it is yours.
- We don't leave you to work out the technical parts. If something needs explaining, we explain it in plain language.
