Service 03 — Shopify Stores

A Shopify store you can actually run yourself.

For businesses that want to be selling quickly without paying for it in flexibility later. Theme work, app setup, payments configured, and a clean handover to your team.

  • Timeline agreed upfront
  • Costs agreed upfront
  • Apps chosen, not stacked
  • Handover to your team

The work itself

What this actually
involves.

What the work is, described without the packaging.

Shopify handles the parts of selling online that are tedious to build and risky to get wrong — checkout, payments, security. That is the reason to use it. What it does not do on its own is make your store feel like your brand, or stop you from drowning in apps.

So the work here is theme customisation around how your products are actually chosen, the smallest set of apps that does the job, and payments and shipping configured for how you trade. Then a handover where your team is shown the parts they will use.

The result is a store live sooner than a custom build, that still looks like you and that you can run without a developer on call.

How we work on it

From products,
to open for orders.

No long onboarding. You always know what happens next.

  1. 01

    We learn about your products

What you sell, who buys it, and what makes people choose you. That decides how collections and product pages are organised.

  2. 02

    We plan the store layout

Collections, product pages and the path to checkout, mapped before anything is designed.

  3. 03

    You approve the design first

You sign off the direction before the build. Everything after is built to match, so the store stays consistent as you add to it.

  4. 04

    We build and configure

Theme work, the apps you genuinely need, payments and shipping set up and tested.

  5. 05

We launch and show you around

You get every login and a walkthrough of the day-to-day jobs — adding products, changing prices, handling orders.

What's included

What the setup
covers.

The parts that decide whether a store feels considered or assembled.

01

Custom theme work

Your store looks like your brand rather than a recognisable stock theme with the logo swapped.

02

Product pages that answer questions

Clear on what it is, what it costs, and whatever the specific thing is that people always ask before buying.

03

Apps chosen, not stacked

Every app costs money and speed. We install the smallest set that does the job and explain why each one is there.

04

Payments and shipping configured

Set up around how you actually trade, then tested with real orders before launch.

05

Built for phone shoppers

Most campaign and social traffic arrives on a phone. Layouts, images and the buying path are built for that first.

06

A handover you can use

A walkthrough of the parts you will touch weekly, and every login handed over in full.

Fit

Where this fits —
and where it doesn't.

Some of this rules us out, and that is fine.

This is a good fit if

  • You want to be selling relatively quickly without a long custom build
  • You would rather not maintain the checkout and payment infrastructure yourself
  • Your team needs to add products and run orders without a developer
  • You want a store that looks like your brand, not a recognisable stock theme

This is not the right fit if

  • You need deep custom functionality Shopify does not support — WooCommerce may fit better and we will say so
  • You want dozens of apps installed. We will push back; each one costs money and speed
  • You want guaranteed sales figures. Nobody can honestly promise those
  • You need ongoing ads or marketplace management — not a service we offer

Questions

Questions we get
about Shopify.

Yours isn't here?

Ask directly and you'll get a straight answer, not a sales call.

Ask a question
Shopify or WooCommerce — which should I use?

It depends on how you trade, not on which we prefer. Shopify suits businesses that want the selling infrastructure handled; WooCommerce suits stores that need deeper customisation. Tell us your situation and we will recommend one and explain why.

Can I manage the store myself afterwards?

Yes. Adding products, changing prices and handling orders are all set up to be done by you, and we walk your team through it at handover.

How many apps will I need?

As few as possible. Every app is a recurring cost and a speed cost. We install what the store genuinely needs and explain what each one is for.

Can you move my existing store to Shopify?

Usually. We look at what you have, agree what carries across, and map old URLs so existing links and search visibility are not thrown away.

What does it cost?

Costed on what the project actually involves, and agreed in writing before we start. Catalogue size and how much theme work is involved are what move it. Shopify licence fees are separate and paid by you directly.

Who owns the store?

You do — the store, the data and every account. Nothing is held back.
